In 1923, Swiss watchmaker Ulrich von Steinhausen created seven very special timepieces. These Steinhausens were among the first watches capable of showing day, date and month as well as AM/PM with a moon and sun wheel. Horology experts believe an original would be worth $300,000 (if any were still in existence). Our faithful replicas, built from the 80-year-old design sheets, recall the originals in nearly every detail. These special edition watches feature hand-cut sapphire cabochons hand set into the crowns and strap buttons. Date, day, month, AM/PM dials. Sweep second hand. Gold or silver-plate, stainless steel case. Antique, ivory-tone face with Roman numeral indices. Updated with a 35-jewel, auto-mechanical movement, so it never needs winding or batteries. Interchangeable, black and brown leather straps included. In a handsome display box. Man's dial, 30mm; lady's dial, 25mm. One-year warranty. Available in silver or gold plate. Please specify men's or lady's above.
